Lakdhanavi Ltd., a subsidiary company of LTL Holdings Ltd., Sri Lanka and started business in Bangladesh in 2010 by undertaking two (02) turn key EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contracts to set up two (02) 100 MW HFO (Heavy Fuel Oil) thermal power plants in Siddhirganj and Meghnaghat for an Independent Power Producer (IPP) in Bangladesh.
After completing those two projects on time, Lakdhanavi secured other two (02) HFO based power plant projects in 2011 and another project in 2016 by winning international tenders floated by the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB). Those three projects were implemented through 03 special purpose vehicle (SPV) subsidiary companies after signing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with BPDB to supply electricity to the national grid of Bangladesh for 15-year periods. Total installed capacity of these three (03) power plants is 218 MW.
Now, Lakdhanavi focuses to expand its business in the renewables, especially in solar and wind opportunities, EPC contracts and operations and maintenance (O & M) of power plants for our existing and prospective clients.
